Dearest
Clara,
Honey I will write a few lines. It
soon will be bed time. I read some in my little Bible today. I hope you are
reading yours, which you probably are. I am sitting by the port hole with my
shirt off, it is pretty comfortable. Honey I hope all of my letters reach you. Keep
count of them, I don’t know for sure how many I have written, but I only missed
a few days and I was waiting for some news to write you. I know you will write
every day even though it isn’t much some time. I am fine darling, so take good
care of yourself and I promise you I will.
With
lots of love and kisses to my darling wife Clara,
Johnny
