Dearest Clara,
It’s
time for bed now. Honey, I will write this now that I have your other ones
answered. I am okay, and you can bet I hope you are. The mail is starting to
come in now. I’m sure glad of that too. I got two from you this evening, one of
them sure was a long time getting here. I love my sweet wife more than ever,
and you will be the same when I get back. I wish grandma would hurry up and get
well, so you could have a rest. You’re liable to be an old woman before your
time. We don’t want that to happen (haha), but no kidding I really know how you
feel. I’ll never forget honey. Write me soon. Good night.
With all my love and kisses to my
sweet wife
Always your husband, Johnny
