Dearest Clara,
I will now write to you honey before morning.
This evening I want to wash one of my blankets, they are getting terribly
dirty. I sure got greasy working on the gun, but I always was my clothes. I
will change this evening after I get a bath, so I can let them soak over night.
It sure did rain hard last night, the wind blew rain all over the foot of my
bed. It’s the hardest I have seen it blow since I arrived here. Gosh! Darling
if you think its hard to find something to write about over there you ought to
be here. I try my best to write every thing that I possibly can, and would
write more if I could and I know you would too. I bet you think I’m crazy for
some of the things I write you, but I’m not (haha). Honey be careful and I love
my dear wife more than ever, and I am same as loved. So you have nothing to
worry about. Write of this and I will. I sure am hoping that your Grandma is
well now.
With
all my love to my wife Clara.
