Dearest Clara,
I
will write this now, as I had a sandwich, will have to let it settle before I
roll in, I have to be on guard for tomorrow. I wished I had another pair of
glasses like my old ones, the ones I have now are too heavy I can’t seem to get
used to them. I got to have some longer bows put on, the ones I have are too
short, a little bump and they fall off. I thought it
was going to rain, but hasn’t yet. I am always being careful dear, just like
you are. You probably have heard from mom by this time, and got some more
clothes from her, I don’t see why they can’t do the washing when you are
looking after Grandma. But I know how particular you are with your clothing, so
am I. When we do them we’re both satisfied aren’t we dear? Be careful and write
often. Good night.
With
all my love and kisses to my wife Clara,
Always your husband,
Johnny
