Dearest Clara,
Honey I’ll hurry and get this done just in case I can’t get a letter written that’s one thing we never can tell around here. Gee! Dear this ink sure is swell after using the other. I wish now that I had told you to send more, but I know if you can get more like it you will. The mess truck will be here in a few minutes. I am okay, my stomach feels a little better this morning. It has been raining and still is. I am pretty tired but I did get a few minutes sleep, which helped some. I got your other one mailed that I wrote to you last night. Honey I hope to get you a nice long letter written sometime to-day, under the circumstances we’re lucky to be able write often. With All My Love To My Dear Wife Clara, Husband Johnny.
