Dearest Clara,
Honey,
there won’t be much news in this one, as there just isn’t such a thing here, I haven’t
been any place for a good while so I can’t even write about that can I dear? It’s
sure set in for a nights rain, sure is cool, but it doesn’t seem to bother the
mosquitoes, as they are biting pertty bad. The rest of the boys are visiting
amongst themselves, while I write, it is early, but just as soon as I get this
done, and one together, I’m going to hit the hay, don’t you think it’s a pertty
good idea honey? I hope you are getting plenty of rest, as I know you need it. I
have 4 letters yet to answer, Ranhy’s, Parker’s, Daisy & Mary and Bernice,
but they will have to wait until I get more envelopes. I hope this finds you
well dear, as it leaves me alright. Bee good & careful, I sure will. Write
real often. Good-Night.
With All My Love,
To My Wife Clara,
Husband Johnny
