Dearest Clara,
Dear, I got 9 v-mails from you this morning, so they will give me more to write about. I sure was glad to get them too. I worked all day, a half day here, and the other half in at Headquarters. It sure was hot to work, four of the U.S. were Nov., and the other five were Dec. up to the 11th. The airmail has been getting here the quickest. Honey, you seem to be well pleased, with Grandma H. I’m sure glad you do. It’s much better, isn’t it? I am sure that both of you will enjoy working with your fancy work. It makes me feel better that you are much more satisfied there. I kinda thought that I would hear from Mother but I didn’t. I feel alright since I got yours. Be careful I’ll get your other one written pretty soon. With all my Love + Kisses, Your Husband Johnny.
