My dearest Gerry,
I received
your letter by special messenger and he had a lot of nice things to say about
you which I will tell you when I see you next week.
I took care
of your letter to Jack Duncan, but please tell me why you want a loan on your
insurance. You may want to pay it back in 60 days but something is sure to come
up to put repayment off, and make it all the harder to pay back. We have been
doing all right so far let’s continue to stay within our limit. If we get
married let’s just use what we have saved. If I move near you I intend to live
and save on what you earn my bread-winner and maybe even more!!
Another friend of ours was asking
about you tonight. I was over helping Father Singleton on a new list of the
parish. He is all set to marry us too. My aren’t we
popular. He gave me quite a talking too, all our way which is never hard to
take. I am going home tomorrow night and will see HIM Sunday and I hope you
will join me.
Keep
praying for us.
Love,
Eileen
