My
sweetheart,
It’s
been very lonesome this weekend, not being with you, I really missed you, I went
to the show last night and saw the “Sullivans” it was a very good picture, one
of the best I saw for a long time. It was a little sad but
good.
I put that picture of you and the baby in that frame you sent to me and
it looks good.
We had chicken for dinner today and it tasted pretty good, we also had
ice cream and chocolate pie. It seemed strange to eat in camp
again.
We have a busy schedule for next, rather this week, we are going to be on
the range all this week, firing all the different weapons. I think the only one
I have to fire is the carbine. I think I will wait until after pay day for that
there day pass, if I can get it then that will be around the 5th of
March. I can’t see of any way to get home any sooner, There wasn’t any this week
because of the range.
How is the baby behaving? I hope he was good today, he usually seems to
be good on Sundays. Will you give him a big kiss for me? I missed seeing him
too. How are you? You said you weren’t feeling so good last week. What seems to
be the trouble? Tell me all about it for I am worried about you.
I haven’t much to say right now, I could say I love you a thousand times
but that wouldn’t mean so much, and take up a lot of paper. I do love you my
dear please believe me.
I love you honey,
Preston
