My dearest wife,
This
is only going to be a short note. The main reason is to tell you I love you so
very much. We are going to fall out in a couple of minutes.
I
was in Franklin last night, but couldn’t find anything that suits us. You
wouldn’t want to stay at Vandivers, because Marcella’s sister is there with her
three kids, so that is out. I am going in tonight again, one of the boys has a
car and he is going to take me around to a few places.
The
snow is just about gone here, the sun was out all day yesterday, but it was
still pretty cold. It’s starting to get light now and I believe we are going to
have a nice day today.
Did
you see the moon we had last night? I hope it isn’t cloudy when I come home.
Why
don’t you tell me you love me honey? I felt bad the other day when you wouldn’t
tell me. If you don’t want me anymore just tell me, then I won’t bother you
anymore, but I love you honey so very, very much. Please be happy again for me.
All
my love,
Preston
