My dearest Pres:
I love you - and That is no April foolin!
I hope to get thus written before the mailman comes
You might let me know if you rec’d your watch.
Dad came home last nite and brought the baby a little fiery red hen. She and I went to the show last nite. Saw the ‘Uninvited’ which I enjoyed [to] no end. It was a little deep and unless you had read the book, you wouldn’t quite understand it. Maybe that’s why I enjoyed it so. Everybody was screaming – I laughed. However it was a good ghost story.
I will wait for your call tonite.
I feel pretty good honey. That old pain in my side is back but I feel good.
Bally is fine. Mother took him over to A. Pearl’s yesterday and I guess he was good. I’ve been giving him orange juice but I think it upsets him so today I didn’t give him any and I’m going to see. Maybe I’ll have to switch to tomatoe juice for his Vitamin C.
I think I’m losing some weight. Are you? I love. I married you because you were fat.
This is all I can think of to write. Let me know about where to send things and if I can send you that big box □ of things or where to send it.
Sorry my letters have been so disappointing to you lately. Maybe you should write to Ruth for your satisfaction. I enjoy yours and and they aren’t long. Anyhow I don’t complain.
All my Love,
Maggie
