Dearest Mommie,

I love you so much honey. All I can think about is you.

How is the weather at home? It was raining when I got down here, and has been raining on and off every day since I came back, but it cleared up this afternoon. It was beautiful this afternoon but tonight – a full moon as big as a cheese, and very lovely, we would have to miss it. We had one before I left and now again when I am back. I like to make love to you in the moon, it so romantic, it makes me blue every time I think of it.  Speaking of being blue, I have had a long face ever since I came back. It’s really terrible honey, being away from you again. I really should be with you now again, you need help and comfort. P-L-E-A-S-E Maggie go to the doctor, and when you are there ask him about your headaches, please do this for me. I am really worried about you honey and I will be until you give me a report. Also ask him if he knows about when you are going to have the baby and what he thinks it will be. I would like to know about when to expect it. Also ask about the doctor bill. Check with your dad on that hospitalization. The reason I am asking all this is because I want to have everything set and I want to pay my bills. Do this for me honey. I never ask you for much. Also make an appointment with the dentist before you get too far gone.

Things seem to be going pretty smoothly right now, although little mixed up. The supply would be last without me. I am not bragging now. The Captain is still as chicken sh- as ever.

I just finished a letter before I started this. I guess its about time.

I don’t know if told you but I had a lovely time with on this furlough, although George was hard on the way back, the first time I ever came back that way, but I will have to forget about that, those days are gone forever.

One of my buddies got married when he was home on furlough. He is one of my roommates, the motor Sgt.

I guess this is about all the news for today. Oh I almost forgot -  love you. Take good care of Mary Ellen.

                                    All My love,

            Pres.

Tell the folks I was asking about them.
