My dearest wife:
By this time I guess you know I am getting your mail alright. Today I received another a V-mail, so it seems to be coming through swell.
I haven’t anything to write about tonight, except I want to tell you that I love you very much, and miss you more today than I did yesterday.
I am so glad to hear that you came through your 6 weeks check. I guess having children agrees with you. You seemed to come through this one a lot better, and I guess the second is always a lot easier. Have you heard anymore from Cat? How is she feeling?
I had another letter from Mother today-I had two yesterday. There must be something wrong with my Dad’s leg, Mother mentioned something about a game leg. Have you heard anything? Is it anything serious? Mother also says she expects you around July. She seems very anxious and says she can hardly wait to see you and the children. Phyllis is also excited.
I am enclosing a money order, so tell me if you receive it. Its just a little something to help out our bank account.
I love you honey, so goodnite.
All my love,
Pre.
