11 P.M.

Dearest darling husband:

Just a quickie tonight to tell you I love you more than ever – more than ever. Over the radio just now they announced the different outfits returning to New York and Boston. They do it every night. I wish I knew where you were so I could listen harder. They told the different areas in France where the troops are being proceeded and when they expect to leave, the name of the boat and numbers of men cheers. They said last night that the 27th Div. is somewhere in France waiting to leave- destination search.

Well, I’ll still be waiting, honey. Forever. You are all I want.

Goodnite Pres.

                        All my love,

                                    Marguerite.

P.S. Right this moment I am thinking about you reading my letter – and I counting very much. Kiss you. I love you so. Maggie.
