Dear Mom and Dad,

How is everything at home? I’ve been getting a letter now and then, but we’ve been moving so much that the mail hasn’t kept up with us very well. We’re finally back at our original starting point now.

Of course, I can’t talk about what we’ve been doing, but we’ve been terribly busy.

I was almost in a bad truck accident on the way today. Another truck ran ours off the road, and we just about turned over. We were packed in so close it would have been a mess if we had gone over. It scared us all.

I don’t know of anything else to say. Just remember: don’t worry and I love you both very much. I will be back before you know it.
