Dear Pauline-
How many times have I told you not
to send me any wearing apparel- the package I received I am going to exchange
for something else or send it back to you. And another thing, don’t pull
any more of them stunts of sending registered mail- do you think I want to
worry about running around and signing for that sort of mail? The reason I have
not been writing so often is because there is no news worth writing about. I
may be drafted into the army soon- my serial number is 1930- and the order
number 1037. There is a possibility that I may be rejected on account of my
stomach, but whatever happens I’ll write and let you know, about the
questionnaire and the medical examination. In the meantime take care of
yourself and give my best regards to all-
Your bro,
Pete
