Dear Mom and Pap:
I’m writing to you while I’m setting up here in the library of the Canteen. Theres an orchestra down stairs that can really play. So far I haven’t gone to the dentist but I think that I may go sometime this week. I hope so anyway. Theres nothing much to do around here during the day except sit up here in the library and look at books. Tell mom I’m going to close now because theres nothing that I can write about. Take care of yourself.
All my love
Alfred
