Dear Mom and Pop,

Just a few lines to let you know what’s going on.

I haven’t been doing very much of anything except working, sleeping and eating and seeing a show once in a while.

I’ll probably be home this weekend if I don’t have a watch.  I think I’m just about slated for one, and it’s just my luck to get one on a weekend that I want to go home.

The weather here sure is rotten, one day its cold and the next day it’s so hot you can hardly breathe.  Oh well, just one more summer to so through until I get out out.

Well I hope it isn’t getting too bad up there in Philly for you.  I know how much the heat bothers you.  I hope that you’re both feeling o.k.  Take it easy now.  I hope to see you this weekend.  All my love,

Alfred
