Dear Addie,
Received your letter a few days ago. Was
glad to hear from you. Certainly would like to have been there to go to
South Hill with you. I know you had a grand time. Certainly was sorry to hear
of Eva’s condition. I know she will just worry herself to death now.
Byrdie wrote me that Wallace (Pully)
and Cathel have another daughter and that Wallace was
to be inducted in the Army the 14th of July. Guess Lorena will go
crazy now that he had to go in army.
Have
had letters from different member of family all seem to be well and working
hard in crops.
Byrdie wrote me that Nellie us working at First and Merchants
certainly hope she likes her work.
When
have you heard from Mrs. Firesheets how is she
getting along?
I
don’t know whether I wrote you that Teat said Aunt Lucy wanted one of those
pictures of me. I believe there was one left and I want you to send it either
to Teat or to Aunt Lucy. Guess you noticed I made first class.
Love to all,
Kermit
