Hello precious sweetheart, how are you hon. You’d better be fine. I know my adorable one is sweeter and more precious than ever too. So honey dear I received the most precious letter today and was so happy to get it. I waited for the mailman before I left he says “Oh boy all dressed up and no place to go” I told him I had a place to go but was waiting for him, then I says “oh boy a letter” and he says “Yes the water bill-light bill too”. Gosh honey everyone knows how much I look for my little honey letter, even the mailman. I told him I wouldn’t even bother him when my little honey comes home. Surely hope you are getting my mail real good my dearest one. Gosh sweetheart just think maybe it won’t be so terribly much longer before we won’t ever have to write letters anymore. Gosh I’m so terribly anxious to hear from you we’ve had peace. Tomorrow is surely the day I guess, since the guys are finally meeting MacArthur. Honey dear our president designated tomorrow as the day of prayer, to thank the Lord for giving us peace once again. Surely hope you can attend church, but if you can’t I know my little honey will say a special prayer to God for ending all this. We’ve both said a lot to him since He has ended this horrible thing. I know He’ll bring us together soon now too. We’re so darn lonesome for each other sweetheart but dearest we know our wait isn’t very far off now, before we’re in each other’s arms. Sweetheart I got your slippers. They are really nice and I hope they find my little honey. I got you a 7 size honey, brown leather. The last pair they had and just what I wanted too. Sweetheart is there anything else I can get you now, please tell your little wife dearest, cause honey I want to get you anything you want and need for our meeting.

Honey dear I met Nadine downtown, and we had lunch at Hotel Muchlebach Grill, surely enjoyed it and we talked and talked, then we left each other to do our shopping. I brought her a box of soap. She brought me a box of cocoanut, one thing we haven’t been able to get for years. I got me a hat too honey, its cute, black felt. Gosh it’ll be so darn wonderful to get clothes and then have my little honey here to tell me how he likes what I have. Sweetheart you think we can go together to get all of our clothes and be together, really together, for the rest of our lives. I love you so very much honey, and our love for each other is so strong, it’ll always be that way too. We’re so happily married, but dearest our happy days aren’t very far off now. Please be careful and sweetheart please take wonderful care of my precious parts, gosh I love you honey, I love it so terribly much. Yours are fine honey. Miss you so.
