Dear
Hon:
Good morning sweetheart. How are you
this morning? I got up to an awful hot
house. It was rather chilly last night so I left the oil burner on, during the night
it got very hot. This weather gets me.
Leo was here last night and Edith. We
sorta waited around for Mary as she was to come home last night, but Leo +
Edith left and I went to bed very tired, Mary isn’t here yet. Leo was telling
me he saw Dave K. yesterday. He was telling him how very surprised he was when
he met you in the motor pool. His dad did not know that Dave was coming home
but Leo was here and I told him after our telephone conversation, that he was
to start his furlough Sat. Leo said that he was tickled to death when he told
him.
Leo
sold our car for $50 but he didn’t have the money him with last night. I think
he ought to get a small share of it for his trouble don’t you think so dear?
The kid that bought it was all excited and said he couldn’t wait till it got
warmer and he could put the top down.
Leo
also informed me that McLaughlin’s is sold, to a polish man from Vernon. His
name is Bronistaiv Z. He is to take it over the 1st.
Darling,
I can’t think of anything more to write about. I still have quite a few chores
to do around the house and not much time to do it in. For one thing I have to
get out of the house early and go to get Wanda as she expected Mary home this
morning and was not coming till 9 o’clock. We will have to take the 8:15 Bus as
usual.
Until tonight darling.
“I
Love you honey.”

Loving Wife
