Dear Hon:
Good evening my darling. When I got
home tonight I had a nice letter and package awaiting me. I was very happy and
excited although I knew that the package contained the pins that you bought for
me Sweet. I love them both, but I must admit that one is beautiful. My mind was
made up right then and there. The smaller pin I would wear to work, while the
more lavish one I would only wear for goodwear, like
when I’m all dressed up. Darling I thank you with all my heart and believe me I
am going to get great pleasure in wearing them, just as you got in buying them
for me. From you darling, the smallest article would be wonderful as I know
that you take a lot of pride in purchasing a gift for me. I am very lucky to
have such a darling and sweet husband like you.
I wrote a letter to Walt and Wanda
this afternoon. I wrote them all about the perfect days we spent together. I
seem to feel the same way you do, as I brag all the while of the perfect days I
spent with you darling. Could other people be as happy as we were for those few
days?
2.
Sweetheart, I’m dying to know how
you came out with the liquor. Did you get it through all right? Did the boys
enjoy it?
I
know sweet, that you are still excited about your furlough, but after a while
you will let me know more won’t you?
Our
feelings are mutual as far as love is concerned. You see dear, I love you so
very much that words cannot express the feeling I have in my heart for you.
I hope that our love will be as
great 20 yrs. from now. Nothing must change it.
Darling, before I go to bed I would
like to read the paper and read your letter once more, so I must say goodnight my
love until tomorrow.
Sweet
dreams.
Your Loving Wife.
