Dear Hon:

Good evening darling. We just put away the supper dishes and we are through for the day. Mary is writing to Bus and I am writing to you dear. We worked steady from 5:30 this a.m. We dusted the house thoroughly and of course it takes time. I made spaghetti for supper with hot sausage it was very good. I worked on Helen's side for 2 days. I was given a detail today and that was "policing the area" as in army language. I planned on naming it so just for a laugh dear. I had 3 men with me, we had to pick up bread, paper, spoons, and everything that the patients might have thrown out the window. We covered a part of the grounds. Helen gave me the best workers in the dining room and they were very ambitious, in fact I had an awful time making them quit working, as I was froze, being it was a chilly and windy day today. I got a big kick out of it though and so did the patients. From now on we will take turns cleaning up. It is surprising sweetheart how much it means to those patients to get outside. It does your heart good to watch them take it all in. It must be like in jail. We don't know the half of it do we?

Sweetheart, I forgot to mention in yesterdays letter that I received the "power of attorney" in one of the recent letters. Darling, I didn't want you to make out a will, my idea was to have you straighten out the matter with Sears Roebuck as the checks come in your name and had to be signed by you alone. I didn't mean to have you go to all that trouble. Of course you know best darling as you have more knowledge than I can ever hope to have. I shall put it away for safe keeping. In order to cash a check in your name I must produce this form, is that it dear?

I'm hoping that the York magazine that you are sending to me dear will be in tomorrow's mail as Kitty and Wanda are coming over tomorrow night and I would like to have her read about her brothers company. anything pertaining to ones family is always welcome.

Sweetheart I am closing this letter to you with Oceans of Love to my dearest, sweetest, most lovable man in my life which is you darling.        I Love you darling with all my heart.
