I am working hard as a soldier. Rice reaping harvest season has started and now so you should always be busy. A short while ago, Mr. Saito fell from a cliff. He was injured but it wasn’t serious. Today, August 1, I had a promotion. Father, please be happy for me. This letter has only the important things and the remainder I will send later.
