Dear Ralph,
I’m just
writing a very short letter but I hope it is better than none. Mom and I went
to the show and just got home. No one got the money and next Wednesday there is
a 3-$75 given. I hope I’m lucky. Your mother sent you a package today, did you
get it? I haven’t been down there for just about 2 weeks. It has been too bad
of weather to get in the lane. I hope you can read this writing. I am sleepy
all the time but I never write until I go to bed then I am sleepy. I didn’t get
any mail today so I’ll look for two letters tomorrow.
Honey I
will always love you and always be true. Honey it’s been hard doing without you
but there is always two sides to everything. I hope you are as anxious to see
me as I am to see you. I will be more excited than the night I married you,
remember? I do. Well Honey, I’m going to close and I’ll write tomorrow night.
There isn’t any news here. Tell me some more that you love me. I always did
like to hear you say that. Be good Ralph and write every chance you have.
Love,
Marge
