Dearest Marge,
Honey I’ll try and write you a few lines tonight to let you know I’m still here. I didn’t get to write last night so you probably will be getting worried or something. We will probably be here this week end but not the next, unless things change again.
I never did send my watch yet. I never had time to wrap it up but I’ll send it this week. I’ll insure it so it will be O.K.
I didn’t get any mail yesterday or today but I probably will tomorrow. I got a letter and card day before so I’m not worried.
Marge you may as well forget about coming down the 5th. If we were still here we wouldn’t be able to get out. It’s just one of those things. I wish you had planned for this week instead of next but it’s to late now. Boy I’d really love to see you and be with you. I guess we will just have to wait awhile longer. I really miss you a lot. Honey you asked me if I had found someone I liked better than you. I haven’t even looked for anyone. You’re all I want and I have you waiting for me so why should I look for anyone. Marge I love you more and more all the time and you should know that. I’m being true to you and always will be. You’re the sweetest wife in the world and I’m real proud you’re mine. I know how you feel when you get lonesome. I get the same way but there isn’t much either of us can do now but wait. It won’t be much longer that we have to live this way and then we can make up for all this time. Then we can have some real fun.
This weather here is really hot lately. I think most of the boys have spring fever. I know I have. I’m really lazy now. If you never did figure out what the boys nicknamed me I’ll tell you. “Fat Ass” That’s a ______ of a name.
Honey I can’t think of anything more tonight. I’ll write you a letter then. This is short by you will know I’m still living. Honey I love you and really miss you. You’re the sweetest pal I ever had.
