2130

    Honey:

You will note by the time that we are allowed to stay up until 2200. I was surprised to find a letter here from you today- fast service. Glad to here all is well, ha, ha.

I neglected intentionally to avoid and omit any mention of your attitude about my departure. I must say you surprised me with you reserve until you got your back turned, and I was also surprised to hear you admit it.

Haven’t much more to write about, except that I’m sending home a bill fold I bought because it’s way too big for my blues pocket. So I bought a smaller one and am sending the first one (along with some papers I don’t need) home to you for an “after duration” job, and I’ve now got a little over $6.00 tied up in a bill folds, pretty extravagant, right.

I got a check from N.N.G.C. today for $136.53, less $1.37 Social Security and $27.31 Income Tax; leaving a balance of $107.85. I am enclosing the “stubb” for our records and will get the check cashed tomorrow maybe and send you a M.O. for $99.99 just for “spite”- aren’t I clever. Thanks for the happy reaction to my idea.

Must get ready for bed now- you know today was wash day and I’m tired.

                                                            Goodnite and all my love,

                                                                        Daddy,

                                                                              Ivica
