Dearest Mary Ellen,
Well I’ve nothing to report today dear. Tonight will be our last night of the ignition phase.
I got another one of those sore throats. I’ve been afraid that its scarlet fever but so far it hasn’t come out. Dearest if I was quarantined in the hospital it would ruin all our plans. It wouldn’t make them impossible though. We would just get married a couple of weeks later. However, I don’t think we have to worry about anything. I feel lots better today than I did yesterday.
Today is really nice, it’s warm and there isn’t any wind to make it cool. This spring weather really makes me romantic.
Darling I debated with myself over and over again whether I should write about my throat, but I felt that I should let you know everything. Don’t you dare worry dear. I think I’m just too healthy to let a little thing like that get me down.
Gosh darling we’re only couple more weeks to wait and then we will be (Mr. and Mrs.).
Not having a letter to answer dear, I can’t think of anything to write. Today you should have seen Mrs. Pico and made some sort of plans.
All my love sweetheart,
Glen
Darling I love you so much it would kill me if I spoiled everything. Keep your fingers crossed for me.
