Dear Sisters:

Well, here is a good lazy Sunday, boy, and I surely have been lazy.  Went to the church this morning. The old guy chewed the fat for 45 minutes. Boy, it sure got tiring. He just rambled on about nothing.  I sent my program to Elizabeth so I can’t send it to you.

We went for a little walk and roamed around for about an hour this afternoon.

See the weather is still funny out here. One of these days she going to up and snow.

Well our radio is still kind of on the blink.  I can’t get one tube I need. A fellow is going to look in Denver for me; if he can’t get it maybe you could back home.  I’ll send you the number when I find out.  Mitchell’s are suppose to have a lot of tubes

I don’t now much news of any account.

I must parade tomorrow for graduation.  It was good in town yesterday. The guys had on their new uniform but no bars and were parading around waiting for salutes. Well, they were fooled plenty by me.  I’ll salute the bar but until those guys prove themselves not the man.

I have a couple of letters to answer so I’ll get at them now.  Your programs were cute. Irma in far of very nice indeed thanks for sending it.

I am glad you got the magazine etc.

Mary got your letter Mildred. I guess she’ll get around to answering it one of these times.

I’ll answer your letter Kathryn.  We are fine but lazy as the devil today.

Boy, that must have been quite an explosion at the Atlas to have those guys get killed but they are only a few who were being damn well paid for taking a little chance.

There are lots of guys who are taking big chances and not getting paid nearly as well.

If you don’t mind having my address changed if I get moved and like that Kathryn why I would like the coronet I really like it a lot there is a lot of good reading in it.  That kid whose arm was nearly twisted off sure had a mean arm.

Well I think I’ll close for this time and write to Sonny W.
