Dearest Mom:

Sorry I haven’t written sooner. Guess you thought I had forgotten all about you, but I haven’t.

I went to Forsyth again this week-end and had an elegant time too. That is the reason for the delay in writing (sp.)

Enclosed is the usual amount, maybe it can be more someday.

Mother, there is a lady up at the boarding house who wants you to get a couple of those shirts like you bought me. You know those with the wide collar like the last one you sent me. She wants a blue and a brown on. Size 14 ½ - 33. She says just let her know how much they cost ans she will forward the cash to you by return mail.

Mom, I will write you a long letter and tell you all about my trip to Forsyth.

I really have met a gang of nice people and have caught me a good-looking girl.

See you Wed. night as far as I know now.
