Dear Mom:

Well, the time draws steadily closer, but it seems that I will have to ride the train which will take a couple of days. It is just pure luck when you get a ride on a bomber and I am so far from the regular air lanes that I can’t find out how they run so, I don’t quite know what I will do yet.

I got a letter from Corley and he said that he did not know whether he can get off or not. He said that he is going to try to get a flight down this way. I hope he can make it.

I have found that the train will put me in Atlanta on the night of Fed. 11th. I’ll have to leave here on the 8th to make it that soon even.

Mom, I’ll have to ask you to again send me the information about m insurance. I lost it lost it somehow, I misplaced the letter.

Also, please send me the Aunt Cora’s address. I had it once and lost it too. I lose more stuff don’t I?

I just returned from night flying and I have to shave and clean-up, we get our officers flying equipment issued to us this morning.

            I’ll write again soon.

Love,

  Roy

Tell Pop and Ben I got their letters and I did appreciate them so I’ll write them soon.
