Dearest Mae-

Have assumed that you don’t care to write to me, I’ve certainly waited for that letter from you every day. Well Mae, considering the past and the way I was forced to write to you, suppose I can hardly expect you to break your week writing to me. I do miss you now. Please write and tell me you don’t care to see me and at least I’ll be convinced there isn’t something else.
