My Dearest Darling,

Well, dear I’m sitting here by myself, playing the viettreola.  Peg is over to the Owl Bar.  How are you dearest?  I sure would love to see you.  I miss you terribly Vincent.  If I don’t get to see you soon I’ll probably be crazy by the time I do.  I keep thinking of you, wondering where you are and if your thinking of me.  If you were only here I’d put my arms around you and squeeze the heart out of you.  I love you so much darling its torture to be away from you.  Understand Sweetheart, I’m not homesick.  Its just that I’m away from you.  I’d go and live anywhere with you and be perfectly satisfied.  Oh Sweetheart, how am I ever going to stand it down here without you.  Vincent, you’ve just got to come down here to me.

I wrote your other letter this after noon, so you know darling, that I want to see you, and miss you so very much.

I will sign off now loving you with all of [my] heart, and thinking of you constantly, longing for you ever minute of the day.

Yours forever,

                        “Margaret”

I’ll be praying, Sweetheart, that I can see you so very soon, and be in your arms, there so comforting to me.

I-Love-You
