Dearest Dotie,

I wonder how my sweetheart is today.  I hope you are feeling just fine.  Well I had quite a time this week.  I wish you had been with me.  I went dancing last night.  I really enjoyed myself.

O yes Honey, the weather is really nice down here now.  I wish you were here in some of it.  Dotie, I will finish up here in June some time.  Then, I do not know where I will be.  Darling I am going to send you a little picture of myself.  It is not good at all.  I need a shave bad, and the picture was just not good.  But the one I had made has not come back yet. It is a big one.  I am sending this one to let you know that I won’t tell you a lie about it. I don’t want you to keep it because it is not good.  So you can burn it if you want to.

Maybe some time the big picture will get back.  The lady said there was a list ahead of mine so that is that.  Honey, I sure did enjoy your last letter I received. O yes. Darling tomorrow I will be 24 years old. “One more gone.”

Dotie, I sure would like to see you. I really mean it.  Maybe after June I will get a chance to.  I like to see my girlfriend once and awhile don’t you? “Of course I know that. You are sweet.” I will close for now. Lots of love.

            Private Rhandy Osteen,

                        Kisses for you
