Dearest Dottie,
I guess you think that I have forgotten you, but Honey I haven’t. You see I have been going so much [that] I have not had time to write very much.
Sweetheart
I am back now so you will be hearing from me again. I have sure missed your
letters too. O Yes I am in
Say Dottie, the picture you sent me is very very sweet of you. I will send you one of my self the first of next month, so don’t get mad.
Dottie, my sweet, the weather is nice and hot here. Boy and how I wish you could have been home with me. I went swimming most every day. I really enjoyed my trip home only it was very hard short, Ha Ha.
Dottie, my girl at home did get mad when I showed her your pictures, Ha Ha. But I did not mind. If she wants to get mad I don’t care.
I like your pictures and I just believe that I would like you just as well. Some time I will see you or I hope so any way.
Well I have met some new boys here. I will soon have lots of friends here, but I don’t think that I will ever like it. I stayed in town last night and it is no good.
Then I came out here this morning, maybe it won’t be quite so bad after a few days. Dottie if I could be placed up there then you could show me around the town. That would so nice don’t you think?
I might come up when I get a few days off. But I don’t know how long that will be. But if I do get to come some time we sure will have a big time, O.K.?
Honey I went dancing while I was home, sure did have lots of fun. After all my fun and enjoyment at home I had to take this long ride up here. So that leaves me very warn out and tired.
Sweetheart I can’t think of any thing else to write so I must begin to close but as I learn about this place I can write more.
Dottie I want you to be sure and answer real soon. Because I sure do want to hear from you.
Closing with all of my love for you my Sweet little friend or Sweetheart how is that, O.K.?
