Edwin M. Day served in the United States Army during World War II as a colonel in the 74th Bombardment Squadron in New Orleans, LA. Throughout the years of the war he often wrote letters to his wife, Diane, who lived in Texas. In 1945, he was moved into the Air Force in Loredo, Texas. Our letter collection contains letters from May 20, 1943 up to August 24, 1945.
